Museum of Oenology and Mondo Martini Gallery
The wine cellars of Casa Martini, a country manor dated from the beginning of the 19th Century located in Piazza Luigi Rossi in Chieri, keep the treasures of the renowned Martini Museum of History of Oenology, one of the most interesting and precious collections of its kind in the world. It opened in 1961 and it is composed of 15 rooms with over 600 items dated from the 7th Century B.C. to the present day. Since 2005 the visit ends with the “Mondo Martini” gallery. Hundreds of objects and documents are displayed and, thanks to the multimedia supports, they create an involving interactive experience. The gallery illustrates 150 years of history of Martini starting from its two enterprising founders, Alessandro Martini and Luigi Rossi, to the present day.
