Regional Museum of Natural Science
The Museum is located on Via Giolitti in Turin and is divided in 5 scientific sections: Botany, Entomology, Mineralogy-Petrography-Geology, Palaeontology and Zoology. The total area of the Museum is of 22000 square metres, with an estimated exhibition area of about 7300 square metres, of which 4300 already available. It is equipped with a special Library, with 12000 books and 1250 newspapers, and a didactic Centre. Its intense editorial activity results in the multilingual six month Bulletin, the special monograph series, the Catalogues on the Collection of the Museum and other institutions, a series of Convention Proceedings and Guides to the temporary exhibits that illustrate the activity of the Museum.
