Archaeological museum
The museum located on Via XX Settembre 86 in Turin is the major archaeological museum in the region, a door to the archaeology of the whole Piedmont and the knowledge of ancient civilizations of Italy and the Mediterranean basin. There is a huge section dedicated to the Piedmontese archaeology from prehistory to the Middle Ages and, as its counterpoint, the Savoy Antiquities Collections and other collections which were created thanks to some local personalities’ passion and which then joined the museum collections. Even children can have fun in here in the junior space, where they will discover the secrets of the work of the archaeologists and will reconstruct the most ancient history of the territory with the help of the mole Augusta.
